CP02-PD is an asymmetric piston seal for hydraulic,single-acting standard applications. It comes with aself-adjusting rectangular retaining ring for higherpressures (7OMpa) and larger extrusion gaps, suitablefor standard grooves, especially suitable for narrowgrocves , and available in a variety of materials,including but not limited to PU, NBR, POM and PTFE.
Asymmetric single acting piston lip seal, with dynamic sealing lip being shorter and thinner than static one in order to avoid drag pressure built up;
• Interference fit on inside diameter;
• Various materials available for different purposes;
• Best sealing effect across wide temperature range;
• Active back-up ring on low-pressure side of seal reduces extrusion and allows larger gap dimensions resp. higher system pressure;
• Sealing effect enhanced by high back-pumping ability;
• For pressure up to 700 bar as seal between pressurized space and atmosphere;
• Good sealing under low pressure;
• Excellent static and dynamic sealing;
• Suitable for long stroke applications;
• Little tendency to stick-slip;
• Low break-away force after prolonged periods of standstill;
• For shorter seal heights ;
The Carlock CP02-P is a high-performance, single-acting asymmetric piston lip seal designed for extreme-pressure environments up to 700 bar. Featuring a dynamic lip that is shorter and thinner than the static one, this profile effectively prevents drag pressure build-up, ensuring smooth operation in long-stroke applications.
Our CNC machining process allows Carlock to offer 24-hour rapid delivery for both standard ISO 5597 dimensions and oversized custom profiles with no mold investment required. The CP02-P incorporates an active back-up ring on the low-pressure side, significantly reducing material extrusion even with larger gap dimensions. Whether you are operating in harshest mobile hydraulics or specialized food-grade environments, Carlock's machined seals provide the perfect balance of extreme wear resistance, low break-away force, and high back-pumping efficiency."
